Ibanez 2021 New Arrivals

New Models for a New Year

Since the late 1950s Ibanez has been shaking up the Guitar world with their leading-edge designs and state-of-the-art technology. And 2021 is shaping up to be no exception - just take a look at these...

Coming Soon: Prestige AZ2204N

Taking adaptability to new extremes, the AZ series has established itself and carved out a place that spans everything from the warmest blues licks, to the most intense, shred-heavy metal riffs. Carrying this ethos forward, the AZ line embodies time-tested Ibanez innovation and player-focused features like a smooth, oval neck grip, a well-balanced asymmetrical body shape, and the neck heel allowing for unrivaled playability.

Coming Mid February: AF55 Lefty

The AF is the most traditional design within the Artcore series. The full-hollow body construction means there are no sound blocks in the body. This construction method produces a rich, complex tone, expressed with a pure voice and full body, the tonal characteristics most highly desired among the discerning Jazz player.

Coming Early March: RGD7521

The RGD is Ibanez's ultimate metal machine. The demands of down-tuning require a specifically designed responsiveness not found in ”normal” guitars. To optimize for the rich, desirable thickness of tone that down-tuning produces, we extended the neck by one inch to a 26.5” scale. Longer-than standard yet not overly long. The neck is still considered a ”fast” neck for speed soloing. Extra-deep cutaways grant comfortable access to the necks highest notes.

Coming Early May: RGB300 & 305

While the electric bass is very much its own animal, it shares a common lineage and character with its 6-stringed cousins. For decades, the RG has stood at the center of what represents the prototypical Ibanez electric guitar. This iconic design is recognized as the foundational instrument for modern metal guitar playing, yet bass players have often had to look on when it comes to this venerable shred-machine: NO LONGER! Now, bassists will again experience the heavy tones and lightning-fast RG playability with the RGB series.
