Dual humbucking pickups with Alnico V magnets cover all the bases from classic rock and blues, to country and jazz, and with the added ability to coil tap each pickup, convincing single coil tones are also at your fingertips. Separate volume and tone controls are wired to each pickup to help shape your tone when both pickups are activated. In the neck position with the tone rolled and some fuzz or overdrive added you can achieve creamy, driven tones that throw back to the 60's, and the bridge gives you everything from throaty, 70's classic rock, to hot Chicago blues. An ebony fingerboard with split perloid block inlays compliments the flamed top, and gold plated hardware rounds out the overall finish and vibe of the guitar nicely.
