A New Era Begins at The Music Spot!

 

This week marks the next step in the journey of The Music Spot.

After 27 years, founder and owner Marian Williams is moving into a well-deserved retirement, and General Manager Hamish and his wife Danni have purchased the business.

Hamish and Danielle bring a wealth of customer service experience. Hamish has over 20 years of experience in Musical Instrument Retail & Wholesale having worked at Toombul Music, Allans Music, Musiclink Australia, Music Express and Just Percussion. Danni is a 20 year veteran of the hospitality industry, working in a variety of management roles and currently owns the cafe Espresso 351 in Taigum, which she has built up over the last three years into a much loved destination for family get togethers and delicious food.

From humble beginnings in 1993, Marian has built The Music Spot into what it is today: a strong, family-based local business that has supported the local music industry, and establised relationships with many wonderful team members, customers, schools, churches and suppliers.

There have been so many wonderful people supporting the store from its infancy and we look forward to maintaining and strengthening those relationships as we move into this new era.

Marian will still be popping in once a week over the next few months so you will still have an opportunity to come in and say goodbye and thank you.

We would like to thank Marian for this opportunity to continue what she has created and we will always be grateful for her time and effort that has gone into such a wonderful business.
