Welcome to a New Week! 

This week's In Focus is Orchestral Instruments - that's Violins, Violas, Cellos and Double Basses. And we have them all!

At this time of year we get multitudes of parents coming in to the store to get their child's first Violin, ready to start the new school year. A lot of these parents aren't sure what they need - but never fear, that's where we come in! We have been supporting local schools for over 25 years now, so we are the experts on School Music, and we know exactly what your child needs.

We stock Enrico Student Plus and Extra models, as well as Gliga I, II and III for the more discerning string players. All our instruments are professionally set up by String Tech and ready to play, and come in a case with a bow. All you need is rosin and a shoulder rest (which we supply) and you're away!

Welcome to a New Week! 

This week's In Focus is Woodwind Instruments - that means Flutes, Clarinets, and Saxophones!

As the school year gets underway these are our most popular items, and we can't seem to keep them on the shelves!

We stock a good range of student instruments from Jupiter, Yamaha and Beale, to ensure we have something to suit every budget. If it's Flutes you're after, check out this Yamaha 222, or this Jupiter 700 series, or while we have some left in stock, this Nuova student model.

This week's In Focus is Tuned Percussion. 

You know, things that are played percussively (ie bashed), but are tuned to specific notes. And we have a wide range!

Have a look at this gorgeous Wind Chime set - you can play crystal clear notes or beautiful rolls. Or if you want something fun, colourful and musical, check out this Mitello Bell Press Set, tuned to a full scale. Sean had some fun with these at Christmas.

Focus On Djembes - and New Beale Woodwind

Welcome to a New Week! 

This week's In Focus is Djembes, and we have LOTS to choose from!

We have a few of the Toca Coloursound left in stock, and these sound as good as they look - and they are small and easily portable. Play anywhere! If you like small, this Celtic knot inspired Toca 7 inch is great. We have a 10 inch Toca hand carved mahogany Djembe if you're after something bigger, and several 12 inch models, like this Headliner rope tuned Djembe, this one with carved waves, or this one with a special snakeskin finish.
