Taylor T3B electric guitar with Bigsby tremelo in orange

Taylor T3B-08
Taylor Guitar’s T3 model is a semi-hollow electric guitar that is designed to offer a variety of different tones for guitar players of all levels and styles, which perfectly complements Taylor’s world famous build quality and fit and finish.
Players who like a deeper, rounder electric tone will enjoy this body style, whose sounds have coloured rock, jazz and country.
Featuring a beautiful quilted maple top, transparent orange finish, ebony fingerboard and elegantly bound F-holes, Taylor have taken a classic arch top design, and recreated it in a thinner, more modern package.
The guitar’s pickups are extremely versatile, and with clever coil tapping the player can achieve everything from soaring rock leads and chunky rhythm parts, to subtle single coil tones with plenty of clarity and bite.
A Bigsby tailpiece adds that classic vibrato to the mix, and Taylor have custom designed a roller bridge to help keep tuning stable.
All in all this guitar packs stunning looks, smooth playability and a huge variation of tones which will appeal to players of many different genres.
We have one shop soiled model in stock with a small nick on the lower back.

Taylor Limited Edition GS Minis - rare beauties now in stock.

The GS Mini is the latest downsized "travel" guitar that may be small in size but has
amazing tone.  The Music Spot has just unpacked some limited edition Koa guitars.
Each of these guitars is superbly figured and looks fabulous.   Built in Taylor's
Mexican factory, this amazing guitar has become one of Taylor’s most popular selling
models.
How is this guitar different from a full size guitar?  Well, the scale length is 51mm shorter and the width is 48mm slimmer, but only 5mm less in depth.
The result is the ideal gigging and recording guitar that projects volume, warmth and clarity without the excessive boominess that engineers have to cut out with e.q. when recording larger models.

The standard GS Mini normally comes with laminate back and sides and a solid Sitka Spruce top, but The Music Spot has managed to secure some limited edition models with a gorgeous Koa back.

Some of these guitars come with the under saddle transducer pickup which is found on the 1 and 2 series Taylor Guitars. We also have the option to fit the ES-go pickup which can be sold separately.

This GS mini comes with Taylor signature playability, clear tone, and impressive sustain.

Playing this guitar is a must and we know you will just fall in love with it. We have!

Come in to The Music Spot and check it out. There are very limited numbers of the Koa in stock right now, so be quick!.

Website Tweaking

Just for fun, we've changed the look of our website this month.
It was time for a change. The times, they are a' changing.
We thought "new government, new website".

Here it is

On The Fly

Propellerhead's Reason has some new effects that you can add on the fly. There are a lot of things you can do on the fly. Many audio programs claim you add this effect or that treatment on the fly. Problem is, how is that fly going? After having all this processing done on her/him by musicians and programmers all over the world, this must be one really exhausted fly. Not do mention distorted, convoluted, reverberated, echoed, delayed, compressed, limited, expanded, equalized, panned, filtered, attenuated, boosted, harmonized, retuned, pitch shifted, pitch corrected, remixed, ..... but not yet deleted.   on the fly (Thanks to Pragmatist for the pic).

K Array KB1 Professional Sound System

The KArray BlueLine KB1 is an amazing new concept in portable sound systems. It looks small, but it sounds HUGE! How can this be possible, you ask? Because, apart from packing almost 700 watts of thunderous power, the KB1 is a true loudspeaker line array, as now used in all major touring systems.
Unless you're playing the Entertainment Centre, the KB1 will fill your gig with loud, amazing quality and completely focussed sound.

The KB1 gives you the ability to digitally adjust the horizontal coverage angle from 10 to 60 degrees and because it is a true line array, unlike other systems that look similar but aren't, the horizontal coverage is a huge 90 degrees. This thing will fill the room and reach around corners!
Constructed with the same professional grade steel, aluminium and wood as used in KArray's massive concert touring systems, the KB1's high powered woofer and mid/high drivers reproduce the complete frequency range from 30hz to 20Khz at levels up to 125dB!

Control is superb, with an integrated 4 channel mixer and included software and usb port that allows extra control of the system including multi effects, e.q., compression, speaker optimization and more, all with a brilliant on-screen display.

All this power, control and superb quality comes in a compact package weighing a mere 22kg.

The KArray BlueLine KB1 is a giant killer!
