Neighbours complaining? We got you..
Welcome to another week of International Drum Month, and we are still excited, and throwing balloons and streamers at everyone who walks in.
Well, not actually at everyone, but the boys have been having fun with our displays, and our drum department is looking very festive. If you haven't' been in to see the new store layout, I'd advise you make up for that soonly!
What's the single biggest problem drummers face today? We hear a lot of people saying that they'd love to play drums, but they are worried about their neighbours. Most of us live in suburban areas these days, and quite rightly, most of us would get annoyed if the people on the other side of the wall were banging around and being loud all day long. So what can be done about this?
Enter the best thing since sliced bread - as far as drummers are concerned - the Digital (or Electronic) Drum Kit. These babies are programmed from real drum sounds, so when plugged into a speaker they sounds like the "real" thing, yet pop in some headphones and the neighbours won't hear anything louder than if you were tapping your fingers on the table top. With the layout and feel of real acoustic drum kits, they will leave you with no excuse - no matter where you live!
