Hercules are the king of stands, whether you need to hold up your Guitar, Trumpet, Sax or music.
For me personally, I use Hercules Trumpet Stands and Music Stands.
Having seen some disasters (usually on stage, usually in front of a large audience and/or TV camera, and usually with a very grumpy conductor looking on in disapproval!) regarding music stands sliding down, falling apart or even BENDING (yes it does happen!), I realized that I would never feel comfortable at a gig again unless there was a Hercules holding up my music – preferably with those cool little yellow “H” music clips as well.
I have two – a strong Orchestral Stand (BS311B) for those heavy Christmas books, and a light and compact foldaway (BS100B) to carry to practices.
And being that my instrument is worth a lot more than a few pieces of paper, the obvious choice for my Trumpet Stand was Hercules as well.
Compact and easy to carry, I don’t have to worry about any malfunctions resulting in dents in my horns – I know that’s the cool look for Jazz, but it doesn’t result in clear precise sounds for Orchestra!
